Physiotherapy can treat musculoskeletal injuries and dysfunction, including:
- spinal injuries
- headaches
- sporting strains and sprains
- pregnancy and post natal
- work injuries
- whiplash and motor vehicle accident injuries
- stroke and other neurological disease rehabilitation
- joint replacements and other orthopaedic conditions
Physiotherapists are first contact practitioners, so you do not need a medical referral unless you plan to claim your fees back on workcover or third party insurance.

Bruce Konings Ba Ap Sc (Physio)
Bruce has experience in public and private sector employment in SA, NSW and Qld as well as overseas in the UK, prior to establishing Goolwa Physio & Rehab. Further studies include acupuncture and the Pilates exercises method. His areas of interest include exercise rehabilitation for chronic spinal problems and sports rehabilitation. Bruce teaches group pilates classes and BOOTCAMP at f.i.t. Bruce enjoys his family life, sailing (when time allows) and working out at the gym.
Kevin Tremellen
Kevin is a qualified manipulative therapist and graduated from Adelaide in 1971. He has run several successful country and city practices before settling in Goolwa four years ago. Kevin is also a qualified professional photographer
Nardine Habner
Nardine graduated in Adelaide in 1994 and her areas of interest are community therapy and neurological rehabilitation. She has also worked extensively interstate and overseas. Nardine is now a mother of 3 and is currently on Maternity leave. She still teaches antenatal classes and hydrotherapy.
Hamish MacKirdy
Hamish graduated in Adelaide and set up practice in the Riverland for over 15 years. He has recently moved to Victor and joined Goolwa Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. He is a keen cyclist and has a strong exercise ethic professionally and personally. His areas of interest professionally are exercise rehabilitation, sporting and lower limb injuries.
